Denver International Airport (DEN) is one of the world's busiest airports and serves as the primary economic engine for the state of Colorado. Since opening on February 28, 1995, it has grown significantly, generating more than $47.2 billion for the region annually. The airport is currently implementing its Vision 100 strategic plan to prepare for 100 million annual passengers through major infrastructure and facility upgrades.

The shopping and dining experience at DEN, referred to as 'Dine-Shop-Relax,' is spread across the Jeppesen Terminal and three main concourses (A, B, and C). The airport features a wide range of retail stores, duty-free options, and local Colorado brands, alongside diverse dining selections that include well-known chains and regional favorites. A central cell phone waiting lot, known as Final Approach, also provides travelers and visitors with convenience retail and food options.

The facility is designed for high connectivity, featuring an internal train system that links the Jeppesen Terminal to all concourses. The airport is undergoing various construction projects, including the Great Hall project, to improve security processing and passenger flow. These developments aim to maintain DEN's status as a global hub while fostering a diverse and equitable environment for all travelers through comprehensive accessibility and inclusion programs.
