Malls.info has no user accounts, no sign-in, and builds no personal profiles. We never ask for your name, email address or any identifier unless you voluntarily type one into a submission form — and none of our forms require it.

To understand which deals and links are useful, we log anonymous click events when you copy a promo code, open a deal link, open an Amazon shelf link, get directions, call a mall, or visit an official mall or retailer site from our pages. Each event records only: what was clicked (a label and the page it was on), the kind of link, and a random per-browser session id stored in your browser's localStorage.

We also use Google Analytics to count page views and the same anonymous click events. Google receives the page address and a coarse event label only — never your name, email or coordinates. Google may set its own cookies to recognise a returning browser.

The search boxes on the home page, search page and trip planner log the same kind of anonymous event: the trimmed search text or filter you used and generic yes/no flags such as "a location was set". They never include your coordinates or the place name you typed into a location box.

That session id is a random string we generate — it is not tied to your identity, your IP address is not stored with events, and it exists only so a coupon copy and a later Amazon click in the same browser can be counted as one journey. Clearing your browser storage resets it.

The postcode and "use my location" search on the directory, cities and events pages works locally: when you allow location access, the coordinates are read by your browser and used only to sort results by distance on the page. They are never stored and never sent to our servers.

When you type a postcode or city name, that text (and only that text) is sent to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim geocoding service to resolve it to map coordinates, subject to the OSM Foundation privacy policy.

Saving a mall, brand or store and planning a shopping trip both work without an account: everything you save lives only in this browser's localStorage. Your saved list and trip plans are never uploaded to our servers, and a trip's share link encodes the plan in the link itself rather than storing it anywhere. Clearing browser storage deletes your saves and plans.

Malls.info participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Amazon links on this site carry our affiliate tag, and qualifying purchases earn us a commission at no cost to you. Amazon may set its own cookies when you follow those links — that happens on Amazon's domain under Amazon's privacy policy, not ours.

Deal and coupon links go to the merchant or the publishing coupon site. We label where each offer was sourced and when it was last checked.

Malls.info shows advertising supplied by Google AdSense. To do that, Google receives the address of the page you are on and your browser's general technical details, and — where you allow it — may set advertising cookies and use advertising identifiers to measure and personalise the ads you see. The purposes covered are advertising delivery, advertising measurement and ad personalisation, plus our own anonymous measurement.

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, nothing for advertising or measurement runs until you accept. The banner appears on your first visit, refusing is exactly as easy as accepting, and your choice is recorded with the date and the version of the notice you were shown.

In California and other US states with privacy laws (Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, Montana and others), personalised advertising runs unless you opt out. Turning off personalised advertising in Your privacy choices opts you out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising, and we honour a Global Privacy Control browser signal automatically as that same opt-out. You will still see ads; they simply will not be personalised.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Your privacy choices" link in the footer of every page. Changes apply immediately, in every open tab. We never pass your name, email address or coordinates to Google, and we never put personal identifiers into page addresses or ad parameters.

• Consent record — stores your privacy choice (accepted or refused, the date, and the notice version) so we don't ask on every page. Kept in localStorage until you clear it.
• Anonymous session id — a random string in localStorage used to count clicks as one journey. Not tied to your identity.
• Saved lists and trip plans — localStorage only, never uploaded.
• Google Analytics and Google AdSense cookies — set by Google only after consent where consent is required; governed by Google's privacy policy.

Anonymous click events are kept in aggregate — we review totals by page and link, not individual histories. Form submissions are kept as long as the underlying listing question is open, then deleted. Browser-side data (consent, session id, saves) is yours: clearing browser storage removes it.

EEA, UK and Switzerland: you have the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time — withdrawing is one tap in Your privacy choices. Because we hold no identified accounts, exercising these rights usually means clearing your browser storage, which removes everything we could link to you.

California (CCPA/CPRA) and other US states: you have the right to know what we collect (this page), to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Use Your privacy choices or the "Do not sell or share my personal information" link in the footer — one action covers both. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal automatically, and we do not discriminate against you for opting out.

Everywhere else: the same controls are open to you — we apply one standard rather than the legal minimum for your region.

Malls.info is a shopping directory for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we change what we collect or how advertising works, we update this page, bump the "last updated" date above, and — where the change affects advertising consent — show the consent banner again so your choice reflects the current notice.

• No sale or sharing of personal information beyond the advertising choice described above — and never when you opt out.
• No precise location collection: geolocation runs in your browser on your action only.
• No fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking, no email harvesting.
