Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) is a public international airport located in Boone County, Kentucky, serving the Cincinnati metropolitan area and the tri-state region. The airport covers 7,000 acres and is currently categorized as a medium-hub primary commercial service facility by the FAA. It offers nonstop passenger service to over 50 destinations across North America and Europe.

The facility is a major global cargo hub, serving as a primary base for Amazon Air and a global hub for DHL Aviation, Atlas Air, ABX Air, and Kalitta Air. It ranks as the 5th busiest airport in the United States by cargo traffic and the 12th largest in the world. CVG is recognized as the fastest-growing cargo airport in North America.

The airport features a single main terminal with two island concourses, Concourse A and Concourse B, housing a total of 51 gates. These concourses are accessible via an underground moving walkway and a people mover system. The terminal is home to five historic large Art Deco murals, originally created in 1932 for the Cincinnati Union Terminal, depicting local industrial workers.

Originally opened for commercial service in January 1947, the airport's history is marked by its growth during the jet age and its former status as Delta Air Lines' second-largest hub. While passenger traffic has seen fluctuations, the airport has recently successfully transitioned into a diversified facility hosting various low-cost carriers alongside its significant international cargo operations.
